PL259 UHF Clamp/Screw Connector for LMR-240, RG59U, RG8X

The UHF Series PL259 (male) and SO239 (female) connectors were initially developed for radar system video connections. Today, these versatile coaxial connectors find applications in communication systems across a wide frequency range, spanning from 0.6 to 300 MHz. They earned the abbreviation “UHF” (Ultra High Frequency) during their inception in the 1930s. At that time, frequencies up to 300 MHz were considered high frequencies. However, in today’s context, with household radio devices operating in the gigahertz range, this nomenclature might seem somewhat outdated.
